Sound and music has been an integral part of my life from an early age, and have always loved the creative process in all its forms.

 

I studied Music and Sound Technology at the University of the Arts London where I also found my passion for Film Sound. Since then I have been writing and collaborating across various arts projects, and now have 10+ years experience working for commercial music, film and advertising.

 

I am also an experienced Sound & Foley Recordist, able to work independently or with a team, capturing high quality voice and environment sound in its fullest and simplest forms. Being a sound editor myself I’ll know what foley elements or wildtrack recordings will be essential in post later, and should be captured on the day.

 

I am comfortable directing actors and musicians on larger projects too, and try to do so in a relaxed atmosphere, which I believe helps achieves a more genuine and honest take from the artists. I work on projects of all complexities, and always keen to take on new challenges.

I have worked alongside directors on features, documentaries, and short films, and have contributed to a number of winning film projects, most recent ‘Rancho Mirage’ in Another Hole In The Head Festival in 2023, ’Sliding Away’ in the San Francisco short film festival 2022, and ‘Sad Pretty Pictures’ in the Big Fridge Film festival late 2021, with more on the way.

I have worked for advertising clients such as McDonalds, Carphone Warehouse, Gymshark, World Vision, and Paul’s Boutique, as well as assisting animators and voice actors to create reels and other content. I am familiar with most industry standard sound software, and work out of my home studio, based in London.
